Some people believe that countries are becoming similar, so there is no desire to explore the world. Others assert that this trend is conducive (способствует) saving people. I will shed a light of this trend.
One of the first contributors, to the existence of this trend is globalization. Business is becoming international. Multinational companies expand their market and their products appear over the world. For example, by living in Ukraine people can consume such products, which are able to find in most countries tend to use the architecture Italy, Greece, France and erect building shopping mall, parks in such style.
Another reason is the cultural diversity of immigrants, their culture and festivals make countries similar. For example, Halloween, it is not only celebrated in Western countries like USA, Canada, but also in Europe and some Asian countries.
There is an advantages of this issue. It helps to save a great amount of money for travelling. Moreover, there is nothing to explore in the world when the countries have similarity. In addition, poor countries can learn good quintessence from other developed countries to become more civilized and richer. While countries imitate cultures of another, the tourism is suffering. Most number of visitors are decreasing.
In conclusion, I consider that a government should take impacts of this trend and considerate and minimize negative effects to their economy and also to their society.
Essay 9 - Some people think that people will forget their own tradition and history because they no longer wear their tradition costumes.
One of the most perceptible (oщутимый) trend of 21-th century is closer connection between countries. As a consequence (следствие) more and more people choose to wear western-style suits instead of traditional clothes for convenience.
First of all, it is an indisputable (бесспорный) fact that the national dresses remind people of characteristics of their culture. It provokes the feeling of pride, but also give the sense of ethnic identify (распознование) of the local inhabitants (жителей) though they are live in any places in the world. In Ukraine, for example, most of the people wear national shirt vyshyvanka at some hollydays. It is smart, nice, authentic (подлинный, аутентичный) dress which contains much symbols. Culture is reflected (отражает) in the way of life of society, of course the role of cultural dresses are undeniable (бесспорный).
Although traditional costume has a national importance. It might not suit in every circumstance. For example, participating in some physical activities or sport, more convenient to wear sport clothes. Also in some formal events such as international meetings, where people from different cultural backgrounds (культурное происхождение) gather for serious issues. It is necessary demonstrate the respectation.
In conclusion, I firmly hold the opinion that we should adhere (придерживаться) of national tradition, wear national costumes and encourage (поощрять) to wear it in some special occasions or situations.
Essay 10 - Traditional food is undergoing (притерпивает) great changes and being replaced by new diets. What do you think about this phenomenon?
People in different countries have quite different traditional food. Even for people in the same region, the food they enjoy today is far from those who ate their grandparents.
Scientific and technological development is the driving force of this change. Our ancestors used to produce and preserve food without the benefit of modern technology. Through the progress of food technology, food is produced quite different nowadays. For example, we can eat fresh vegetables and fruits during the hole year, because we have opportunity to freeze them or to conserve.
The change of lifestyle also contributes to the change in traditional food. The quickly pace of time does not require a lot of time for cooking. Thus, many people choose fast foods for breakfast or dinner. As a result, those traditional food is replaced by ready made one, easy-to-cook convenient foods.
Lastly, the traditional food is also dispute by diets from other countries. Due to exotic diets, traditional foods experiences some changes and makes certain adjustments are made, so as to be more attractive.
In conclusion, I think that it is a pity to lose some traditional foods. Also I consider that changing in food technology often means improvement. We should to keep pace with the times, but do not to forget about our traditional dishes.
Essay 11 - Some people think the Olympic Games will no longer play an important role in the 21-th centure. Do you agree or disagree?
A matter of considerable controversy (спорный вопрос) at present is issue of whether the Olympic Games play an essential role for modern societies or rather it is just the waste of time and money.
Firstly, Olympic Games play key-role to encourage (поощрять) younger generation towards sports activities. The youth are inspired by sportpeople and give more preference to sports activities. As a result youths live healthy lifestyle. As a result the youth lead healthy lifestyle and maintain (поддерживает) their physical fitness.
Secondly, to maintain sustainable (устойчивый) relationship among nations the Olympic Games play an important role. Nations try to prove themselves as superoir and developed than others. The Olympic Games bring prosperity in relationship among different nations, cultures.
To conclude, the Olympic Games benefit both the younger generation and establish close relationship among the countries.

Let's start with, scientists and researchers are the people who dedicated their life for the society. These people work hard to discover new technologies, medicines, they neglect their family life. As everyone knows a scientist’s life is full of stress and tension.
Furthermore, scientists are the boons to humanity. In this modern world, most of the essential problems can be solved with a mouse click ranging from e-banking to telemedicine. Moreover, Computers, televisions and mobile phones have made human life easier, faster and efficient.
On the contrary, there are thousands of students who do not have the basic facility and money to complete their elementary education which is quite necessary for the development of the country and individual. There are people that assert 100% literacy rate should be the primary goal of a country and illiterate need to get more support. In this regards, providing extra facilities to the science students only might seem a discriminating idea.
In coclusion, scientists’ contribution towards society and to the world is invaluable so the science students deserve more favourable support from the government, these supports can attract more students towards this field.
Essay 15 - Nowadays people can use computers to talk, learn and communicate without leaving home. There is a danger that it will cause more isolation and lack (недостаток) of communication among people.
At present computer is one of the essential parts of our daily life. It makes our life more comfortable and make simply many things.
On one hand, some argue that due (в связи) of more dependency from computer, our life becomes more complicated and tensed. We less communicate live and meet with our friends and relatives. We do not send papercards or handwritten letters. We do not hold in our mind the dates of birthday of our friends and relatives. This is need not do, because computers, namely programs or social nets will remind us about it.
On the other hand, there are quite plausible (правдоподобные) reasons how the computer is becoming the part of our everyday life. Now world is in our hand. Anyone can reach any corner of the world within a second. When the rhythm of life is so fast, the operativeness is so important. There are so many ways to communicate with each other such as mail, online chartting, voice mail, messangers. These all make our life more convenient. But of course we do not forget about friends which live near with us and try to find for them. Online communication does not replace the live meeting with your best friends.
In conclusion, taking all the aforementioned pros and cons and cons (за и против), I consider that computers is the most wonderful gift of our life.

It is gaining a reputation for being the first and sometimes the only source, when we need to search something. However, as the websites have a large base of information, sometimes it is a difficult task to search what we need. Another problem: Is this information correct?
That's why books will never be replaced. This is due to the fact that books are the main tool of education and are commonly used for our leisure time. Books have been with us for many thousands of years. Also reading books is an ancient pastime, and although the variety of activities can undertake in our spare time has increased dramatically over the years, reading is quite popular. Books are not only used for our pastimes, but for our studies too. They play a major part in our education.
In conclusion, I think that as computer age takes over, we may use books less, especially for information purposes. However, books as we know them will not disappear, they will never be replaced by the information in the screen, because they are used in our leisure time and the main tool for our education.

I strongly believe, the excessive use of TV by the general public has compromised the lives of people.
